1. Age-Restricted Items (Bladed Tools)

By purchasing any kit containing a bladed tool (including, but not limited to, medical shears, scalpels, rescue knives, or multi-tools), you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. Under the Criminal Justice Act 1988 and the Offensive Weapons Act 2019, it is an offence to sell or deliver these items to anyone under 18.

2. Two-Step Age Verification Process

To comply with UK law, we operate a strict two-step verification system:

  • Step 1: Point of Sale: We use electronic age-verification services to confirm your age at checkout. If we cannot verify your age automatically, we may ask you to provide a copy of your ID via a secure link before your order is processed.
  • Step 2: Point of Delivery (AVD): We only use couriers that offer a mandatory Age-Verified Delivery (AVD) service.
    • Personal Delivery & ID: The courier must hand the package to an adult (18+). They will request a valid photo ID (Passport or Driving License) to verify age. The recipient does not necessarily have to be the buyer, but they MUST be 18 or older.
    • Signature: A signature from a verified adult is mandatory.
    • No Exceptions: These items cannot be left in a "safe place," with a neighbor (unless that neighbor is also age-verified by the courier), or delivered to a parcel locker.

3. Right to Cancel & Bulk Purchases

We reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund if age-verification cannot be confirmed. Furthermore, in accordance with UK safety regulations, we monitor for bulk purchases of bladed articles. We reserve the right to report suspicious or excessive bulk orders to the relevant authorities if required by law.

4. Packaging Safety

All bladed items are packaged in accordance with UK postal safety standards to ensure points and edges are secure and cannot pierce the outer packaging. The outer packaging will be clearly marked with a label indicating that the package contains a bladed article and must not be handed to anyone under 18.

5. International Shipping & Customs

For orders placed outside of the United Kingdom:

  • Compliance: It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the items comply with local laws. Please note that many countries have strict bans on the import of certain bladed items; we are not liable for items seized due to local restrictions.
  • Duties & Taxes: Any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
